Check out time is 12 noon and Check-in time is 2 pm. However, Morgan’s Cove Resort will make best efforts to accommodate guests prior to the official check-in or after the official check out time when requested, and subject to availability.

Rates are quoted for double occupancy per bedroom per unit. Published rates are subject to 16.39% tax or applicable taxes at the time if such should change. The room rate includes two daily breakfasts per bedroom per unit served at our restaurant. An extra charge plus taxes will be applied for each additional guest. An additional guest is defined as a person in addition to the allotted double occupancy per bedroom, per unit.

All direct reservations require payment in full at time of booking. Payments not expedited immediately are subject to cancellation without further notice. Agency bookings can be subject to special terms, please consult our reservation department for details.

Payments are received in US DOLLARS or COLONES and may be paid by Visa, Master Card or American Express. Direct deposits, wire transfers or personal checks must be previously arranged with our reservation department, and proof of bank transactions and copy ID must be sent by fax to +506-2643-3148 or via email to: info@morgans-cove.com

Green Season is considered from April 16 to June18, 2009 and Aug 29 through Dec 18.
Peak Season is December 19 through January 15 and April 6 through April 15. Juli 29 through Aug 11
High Season is January 16 through April 5th of 2009 and June 19th through Juli28 and Aug 11 through Aug 28th.

Reservations for PEAK SEASON whether made direct or by a travel agency require a 50%
NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at time of booking. The following 50% of the entire reservation amount is due 91 days prior to guests’ arrival and is also NON-REFUNDABLE. Payments not received in a timely manner are subject to immediate cancellation without further notice. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Room reservations that fall on December 31st will incur a mandatory charge per person for Morgan’s Cove Resort New Year’s Eve celebration. Please consult our reservation department for more information and pricing.

Direct or travel agency bookings of three units or more require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. In all cases, said deposits are due upon confirmation of the reservation request. All other cancellation policies apply according to season.

Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by fax to +506-2643-3148 or email to info@morgans-cove.com, and all cancellations must be confirmed as received by Morgan’s Cove Resort to be considered valid.

For cancellations during ALL SEASONS requests must be received in writing 31 days or more prior to arrival to avoid penalty.

Cancellations requested in writing 30 days or less prior to guest’s arrival during ALL SEASONS are considered NONREFUNDABLE or forfeiture of the full prepayment. Late bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE after the credit card charge has been processed. However, Morgan’s Cove Resort will make efforts to refund 50% in the event that all rooms are sold during that period.

NO-SHOW and/or un-used room nights, and/or early check-outs are NOT REFUNDABLE regardless of the season.

Due to Morgan’s Cove Resort strict payment and cancellation policies we strongly recommend travel insurance. A selection of travel insurance carriers can be found at: www.insuremytrip.com.

Rates are valid from January 15th, 2009 to January 14rd, 2010 and are subject to change without prior notice. All confirmed and fully paid reservations are exempt from any rate changes.

Please note that all guests have the freedom to enjoy their stay with visitors, friends or partners but they have to be registered. The maximum visitors for a guest are 4. The resort will charge a day fee of $15 for temporary visitors and the amount will be charged to Guest account. Guests are 100% responsible for damages etc. made by their visitors, friends or partners. It is not allowed by visitors to bring their own food or drinks.

Exploitation of underage persons is not permitted within the Resort grounds. Guests who do not respect this policy will kindly be asked to leave with no refund due.

FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE: Morgan’s Cove Resort is exempted for the liability for failure to execute arrangements specified herein directly or indirectly caused by or in consequence of any conditions beyond human control. However, option to rebook is subject to availability of rooms covered by the dates of visit. Morgan's Cove Resort is not responsible for travel agents who fail to pay the booking for their customers to Morgan's Cove Resort, claims have to be made at the travel agency. In case Morgan's Cove Resort does not receive booking funds from a travel agency then the booking is NOT valid, claims are for the travel or booking agency.
