Why can't kids under 18 years stay by them self in our resort?
We open our arms to welcome singles, friends, and families to our fabulous Beach Resort. Our Resort includes all the fun, adventure, and luxury that families want most, elevating the family vacation to world-class standards. Kids below 18 years can't stay alone at our resort but are welcome when they are coming with one or more adults.

Is a visa required to travel to your resort?
Visas are not required from U.S. citizens to visit our country. However, effective January 23rd, 2007, all U.S. citizens returning from the Caribbean must have a valid U.S. passport in order to re-enter the U.S.

Do I need to bring an electrical adapter?
Don't worry it's the same as the USA 110 volts. Europeans need an adapter.
Can I make reservations for dining or activities before I travel?
Reservations for dining are not needed but for sport-Fishing, golf, scuba, water-sports, tennis, etc. reservations can be made up-front or when you arrive at your choice.
We are traveling with a couple of friends. Can we request adjoining rooms?
We accept requests for adjoining rooms and will always do our best to accommodate you and your friends. However we cannot guarantee that adjoining rooms will be available.
What are the transfer times from the airport to the resort?
Transfer time is around 2 hours from the international airport to Jaco. It is a beautiful mountain drive and a first introduction to the nature of Costa Rica. Relax and enjoy this ride.
Can I drink the water?
Since our resort has water filtration plants on property, drinking the water in your room is perfectly safe. Bottled water is sold for at additional cost.
Should I get vaccinated before going?
Vaccinations are not necessary for Costa Rica. However, we suggest that you speak to your doctor for more information and recommendation depending on your personal health.
How much cash should I carry?
Our front desks will accept most major credit cards (MC, VISA and AMEX). On check in, all guests will be asked to tender a credit card to activate their room folio. Your room has a safe box which you can enter fro an additional fee of $3.
If you are planning to travel off property for shopping and such, we recommend bring some cash along as some vendors do not accept credit cards or travelers checks. There are exchange bureaus in town, do NOT change at the street. All the stores in Jaco accept US dollars (Not $100 bills), but please note that you may receive change in the local currency. Additionally, you may want to carry small bills to tip luggage attendants at the airport and airport transfer drivers outside of the resort.
How can I arrange tours outside the resort?
A variety of local tours are available at all our locations at additional cost. Reservations can be made at the resort's Tour Desk. Please inquire about this when you arrive or book tours when you book your stay at the resort. View tours offered at each resort.
Are beach towels provided by the resort?
Yes, beach towels are provided by the resort.
How do I arrange transportation to the resort?
There is at the airport a special airport taxi service we recommend to use only those taxi’s as they are of high quality with highly trained drivers. more information on car-rentals click here
